PALM SPRINGS – For the second consecutive year, Desert Oasis Healthcare has earned the recognition of being a Great Place to Work, according to independent analysts at Great Place to Work®.

“Taking everything into account, I would say this is a great place to work.” This statement summarized 89 percent of the ratings provided by Desert Oasis Healthcare (DOHC) employees in anonymous surveys, according to analysts.

Pride and credibility were two of the markers of employee happiness that rose to the top as DOHC achieved this “Great Place to Work” distinction for a second year in a row. The more than 1,000 DOHC employees collectively embody the company’s ethos of “Language of Caring” by constantly striving for service excellence.

DOHC offers employee classes in yoga, Weight Watchers at Work, stress management, parent support, healthy eating, and much more to provide for self-improvement and life balance. These programs and more have helped DOHC earn regional and national recognition for workplace wellness practices.

“Happy and fulfilled employees deliver better service in the interactions they have with each other and the more than 60,000 patients they serve,” Dr. Marc Hoffing, DOHC medical director, said in a prepared statement. “That’s why we give as good as we get from our incredible employees. Our Employee Success Program is always looking for ways to improve staff health, while offering them education and fun at the same time.”
