PALM DESERT/INDIAN WELLS, CA – Get ready for a howling good time at The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens annual Howl-O-Ween, presented by The H.N. and Frances C. Berger Foundation, on Saturday, Oct. 26 from 9 a.m. to noon and Thursday, October 31 from 6 to 8:30 p.m.

Visitors of all ages are invited to dress up in their favorite costume and experience park-wide activities along with the every-day wonders of The Living Desert. Children under 12 should bring a reusable bag to hit the trick-or-treat trail featuring a large variety of treat stations.

“The Living Desert is celebrating 25 years of offering a safe, entertaining place for families to celebrate Halloween,” Erin Scott, senior Marketing and Public Relations Manager said in a news release. “We invite everyone to come join our spooky daytime and evening adventures.”

Additional howl-o-ween activities include pumpkin bowling, a witchcraft hut with glow-in-the-dark paint, a sensory lab, and more. A haunted mansion treat station, complete with a maze, is sure to deliver a ghostly experience. Plus, spooky train rides and the carousel will be available for $3 per person.

Free Howl-O-Ween entertainment includes DJ Dynamic Dave spinning tunes in the Palm Garden and Magician McHugh & Co. amusing the audience at Village WaTuTu.

The Howl-O-Ween daytime event on Saturday, October 26 from 9 a.m. to noon is free to members and with paid park admission to the Zoo. Halloween night, from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. is $6 for members and $10 for non-members. Howl-O-Ween at The Living Desert is presented by The H.N. and Frances C. Berger Foundation, and is sponsored by HiTech Lights, Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians, Ultimate Events, Contour Dermatology, and Whitewater Rock and Supply.
