Mission Springs Water District Releases 2023 Water Quality Report

Mission Springs Water District released its annual Water Quality Report, providing comprehensive information and test results that confirm the water supplied to customers meets all current state and federal standards.

“Because the water quality we serve our customers matters, our production team performs thousands of tests and analyses each year to ensure the safety and quality of our tap water,” said Board President Ivan Sewell. “We are proud of our award-winning water and the steps we take to ensure the continued delivery of this precious resource.”

The Report, also known as the Consumer Confidence Report, is available on the MSWD website and is mailed to customers annually by July 1. MSWD’s tap water is rigorously tested throughout the year, adhering to the stringent regulations and guidelines set by the State Water Resources Control Board and the Federal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

Compiled from the previous year’s test results, the report provides valuable information about drinking water sources, the processes used to ensure its safety, the constituents found in the water, and how MSWD’s water quality compares to regulatory standards.

“Customers can be confident that their tap water meets the highest standards,” added Sewell. “In fact, tap water is more regulated and tested than many bottled waters available in stores.”
