WildLights Celebrates 30 Years at Living Desert

WildLights Celebrates the 30th anniversary of beloved tradition

PALM DESERT/INDIAN WELLS — Tickets are now on sale for WildLights at The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens. This annual holiday tradition celebrates 30 years by transforming the Zoo into a sparkling winter wonderland.

The festivities kick off Wednesday, Nov. 23, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and continue select nights through Dec. 30. Advanced reservations are required, as event capacity is limited each evening.

Presented by the H.N. and Frances C. Berger Foundation, WildLights at The Living Desert
features more than a million colorful, twinkling lights and light displays with decorations and entertainment spread throughout the zoo. WildLights has been recognized by USA Today as Reader’s Choice 10 Best Zoo Lights for three years in a row and is in currently in the running for 2022.

Guests can stroll the numerous Zoo pathways that are decorated with holiday lights. New displays and features are set to delight including a new Tunnel of Lights. The 15’ tall
gift along with photos with Santa Claus top the list of attractions, plus carousel rides, roasting s’mores, entertainment, and more. Guests can also explore the trails of African
Safari and catch a glimpse of rhinos, giraffe, zebra, and African painted dogs. The G-scale
model trains with more than 3,300 feet of track, will be decked out for the season, as well.
Food and beverages will be available for purchase nightly.

WildLights is open Nov. 23, 25, 26, and Dec. 2, 3, 9, 10, 16-24, and 26-30 (closed Dec. 25), from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. with last admission at 8:30 p.m. WildLights’ supporting sponsor is HiTech Lights.
