Palm Springs International Airport Celebrates Launch of Nonstop Service to New York City on Delta

PALM SPRINGS — This seasonal Saturday-only service will run through May 3, and will be operated using Delta’s state-of-the-art Airbus A220-300 aircraft. Passengers on this route will enjoy enhanced comfort, including 2×3 seating, 12 First Class seats, 30 Comfort Plus seats, and 88 Main Cabin seats.

Flight Schedule:

  • Departs JFK at 8:45 AM – Arrives PSP at 10:50 AM
  • Departs PSP at 12:50 PM – Arrives JFK at 8:35 PM

Notably, this new route is the longest that Delta operates with the Airbus A220-300, providing passengers a quiet cabin, ample legroom, and even a unique lavatory window for scenic views.

The new service from Delta represents the fifth new air service launch for PSP this season, reinforcing the airport’s commitment to expanding travel options and enhancing convenience for its growing passenger base. Delta is now the second airline offering nonstop service between Palm Springs and New York.

Palm Springs International Airport (PSP) served more than 3.2 million passengers in 2023 and is owned and operated by the City of Palm Springs. It is the only commercial service airport in the Coachella Valley, the closest airport to Joshua Tree National Park, and hosts 13 airlines providing nonstop service to 30 airports in season with one-stop connections to more than 300 global cities.

US nonstop routes include Atlanta, Bellingham, Bend/Redmond, Boise, Chicago Midway, Chicago O’Hare, Dallas Love, Dallas/Fort Worth, Denver, Washington Dulles, Everett, Houston, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, New York JFK, Oakland, Phoenix, Portland, Sacramento, Salt Lake City, San Francisco, San Jose, Santa Rosa, and Seattle. Canadian nonstop routes include Calgary, Edmonton, Toronto, Vancouver, and Winnipeg.
