Jeff will back our first responders, hold criminals accountable, and most importantly, work to help keep Riverside County safe.”

He is seeking the seat Assemblymember Eduardo Garcia now holds. Garcia is not seeking reelection.

District 36 encompasses the counties of San Bernardino, Riverside, and Imperial Valley. Gonzalez is one of seven people vying for the seat.

The top two vote-getters regardless of party affiliation will compete in the general election in November.

“I am thankful public safety leaders like Sheriff Bianco are endorsing my campaign,” Gonzalez said. “Right now, we need new leadership in the State Assembly to immediately address California’s crime crisis. My mission in Sacramento is to fight for a safe California and fix our state.”

Bianco added his name to a growing list of endorsements behind Gonzalez’s campaign.
